Our Kevlar/Nomex bomb suit includes a jackets with attached collar, adjustable trousers with chest and groin plates, helmet with visor, air-cooling blower, transit bag, integral radio earphones and microphone in the helmet. The armour blast-plates have a double layered backing of a closed-cell linear foam with a comprehensive modulus of 4350 p.s.i. The Collar, chest, groin and the front of the legs have built-in anti-trauma inserts. The self-contained Kevlar cooling suit, which is worn underneath, is designed to offer a safe and cool environment ideally suited for persons involved with bomb disposal and surveillance.
